Milan can be visited all year round, but the best periods are spring (April–June) and autumn (September–October): pleasant weather, ideal days for walking, and less heat compared to summer.

Summer can be very hot and muggy, with many Milanese on vacation in August, but it's a good time to find more affordable hotels.
